This work-based, part-time course will help you to develop the knowledge and skills needed to become a confident and competent General Practice Nurse.
Many of our lecturers maintain clinical currency by working in practice to ensure you receive the most up-to-date insights and training.
This work-based, flexible and distributed part-time course is aimed at nurses new to General Practice. You will need to be a qualified registered nurse and hold current professional registration on Part 1 of the Professional Register. You will also need to have completed an honours degree or equivalent.
Ideally, you will be working in a general practice/primary care setting for a minimum of two days per week.
It is a pre-requisite of the course that you have access to a mentor working in this setting to support you through the programme.
