Description

This module is for qualified nurses / midwives / nursing associates whose registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council has lapsed following a career break of three or more years who have not met the PREP (practice) standard of completing the minimum of 450 hours of practice during the three years prior to renewal of registration.

The module will enable you to reflect on your own practice, thereby identifying your individual professional development needs. You will be able to utilise contemporary evidence-based information to inform and rationalise your clinical judgements and refresh your clinical skills when caring for patients.

We offer one opportunity to study this module during the academic year.

January occurrence - 20th January 2025 Mon-Fri (Adult, Midwifery,Child, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Nursing Associates)

Week 1 University - then 3 weeks placement - 1 Week University - and simulation of some clinical skills - placement until hours are completed {practice placement hours are determined at interview}

PreRequisites

A recent copy {dated within the last 3 months} of your NMC Statement of Entry showing your registration status must be submitted with your application.

{please go on-line to the NMC to obtain one} 

We are unable to process your application if you do not include your NMC Statement of Entry

Offer will be subject to placement availability, satisfactory DBS, Medical and two references, one of which must be work related.
