Description

Dates for this module are to be confirmed ASAP for a Semester B intake - January 2021.

 

This module aims to enable midwives to develop an in-depth knowledge of physical, psychosocial and emotional very early child development (VECD) and further develop their skills related to promoting confident, responsive parenting in the antenatal, perinatal and postnatal periods.

PreRequisites

Registered Midwife. Working in or with access to a relevant work environment.

Assessment

Facilitated discussion; written coursework.
