This half-day course will cover the essential topics involved in coding in R such as loops, conditions and functions. It is aimed at two groups of potential delegates: (i) those who have learned the basics of R (for example, by attending our "R Crash Course") and want to extend their knowledge and analysis abilities using coding; (ii) those who have experience of coding in other programming languages and wish to learn how to code using R.
The topics covered will be R data structures, loops, conditions and functions. Hands-on exercises will be used alongside explanations of the concepts to develop practical understanding. RStudio will be used as a front-end for managing the R programming.
